Isochronic tones, they works in a similar fashion to the binaural beats, except for the fact that it is a single tone/mono- tone. An Isochronic tone is a tone that is switched on and off at intervalls, somewhat like a drumbeat. It´s the same tone in both channels (left and right) and the tone is easy to discern, contrary to the binaural tones which can only be discerned by the brain. You dont need headphones or to listen in stereo when listening to isochronic tones. Some may feel that isochronic tones sounds a bit strange or even a bit unpleasant. The truth is; the sound has to be like that for this process to work, and accurately control the electrical activity in the brain. This is essential for creating the different consciousness effects we are striving for.

Isochronic tones are Superior
More and more brainwave entrainment users are of the opinion that "isochronic tones" are superior to the good old binaurala beats. Isochronic tones even work on people with uneaven hearing in one of their ears. The trend in commercial brainwave entrainment products are in fact towards isochronic beats/tones. The fact that Isochronic beats are superior to binaural beats does not however erase the fact that binaural beats still work.
