Isochronic Tones

With advances in sound technology and understanding in how the brain function, there is now a simple technology which allows anyone to gently alter brainwaves and consequently change one’s state of mind. This technology is called brainwave entrainment. It refers to the use of sound recordings of particular frequencies which work simply by listening at them. The most advanced type of brainwave entrainment technology on the market is called isochronic tones. They work in a similar fashion as the binaural beats, except for the fact that isochronic tones is a single tone that turns on and off in a particular pattern (somewhat like a drumbeat). The contrast between on and off is very high, inducing high neural response. In comparison with the binaural beats, where you hear a continuous sound that fluctuates in volume, in isochronics you hear a sound in specific time intervals. Isochronic Tones

This pattern cannot be mistaken by the brain as can happen in some cases with binaural beats. The imprint that isochronics leave to the brain is very clear and strong. It´s the same tone in both channels (left and right) and the tone is easy to discern, contrary to the binaural tones which can only be discerned by the brain. You don't need headphones or to listen in stereo when listening to isochronic tones. Some may feel that isochronic tones sounds a bit strange or even a bit unpleasant. The truth is; the sound has to be like that for this process to work, and accurately control the electrical activity in the brain. This is essential for creating the different consciousness effects we are striving for.

Isochronic tones are Superior
More and more brainwave entrainment users are of the opinion that "isochronic tones" are superior to the good old binaurala beats. Isochronic tones even work on people with uneaven hearing in one of their ears. The trend in commercial brainwave entrainment products are in fact towards isochronic beats/tones. The fact that Isochronic beats are superior to binaural beats does not however erase the fact that binaural beats still work.
